Located at 16 Pershing Ave, Poughkeepsie, NY 12601, Dutchess Auto Collision operates as an auto repair shop serving Poughkeepsie in New York. This page gathers the practical details people usually look for before visiting: where it is, how to reach it, when it opens and how customers rate it.

In Poughkeepsie, shops are busiest on Monday mornings and before holiday weekends, so a mid-week appointment gets a car seen faster. Labor rates across New York vary by neighborhood and by shop type, from small independents to dealership service bays, and mobile mechanics now cover many routine jobs in the driveway. Before authorizing a repair, ask for the estimate in writing, whether the shop warranties parts and labor (12 months / 12,000 miles is common, some offer more), and whether it can provide a loaner or a shuttle. Check the listing for hours, the makes the shop works on and its Google rating, then call ahead, since walk-in capacity is limited at smaller shops.

Hours are published for 6 days a week. The most common schedule is 8 am–5 pm. It is closed on Sunday. Hours in the United States do change around federal holidays and long weekends, so a quick call before a special trip is sensible. The listed phone number is (845) 764-8394. Many businesses also reply to text messages on the same number if it is a cell phone. Its website is dutchessautocollision.com, where you may find menus, price lists or booking options.

On Google it holds a rating of 4.7 out of 5 from 16 reviews, which is a strong result for an auto repair shop in Poughkeepsie and suggests consistent service.

Poughkeepsie is in New York, in the Northeast, where four distinct seasons shape local life: hot humid summers, snowy winters that can close businesses for a day, and a dense pattern of towns where walking, transit and street parking all matter. Getting around Poughkeepsie is easiest by car; street parking is metered in busy downtown areas, and most suburban businesses have their own lot. Ride-share apps such as Uber and Lyft operate across New York's larger cities, and public transit varies from extensive to minimal.

I had an amazing experience with Dutchess Auto Collision! My car was hit and I was honestly stressed about how it would turn out, but they completely exceeded my expectations. When they finished, my car looked like it just came straight out of the factory—absolutely flawless work. The team was professional, communicated clearly throughout the process, and delivered top-quality craftsmanship. You can tell they really take pride in what they do. If you need body work done and want your vehicle restored to perfection, this is the place to go. Highly recommend!

Dutchess Auto transformed my stressful experience of a deer collision into a hassle-free one! Ricky and Anna worked diligently with my car insurance company to ensure that my car was repaired promptly and to the highest standards, my car looks as good as new! Their friendly and highly skilled staff, along with their immaculate body shop, make this a great place to get your car serviced. They even offer tea or coffee if you need to wait. I highly recommend this location because they handled my car with such care and attention.

I can't say enough good things about Dutchess Auto Collision. From start to finish, the entire experience was smooth, professional, and stress-free. The staff was friendly and took the time to explain every step of the repair process. They gave me a clear, honest estimate upfront--no surprises or hidden fees. When I got my car back, I was blown away by the quality of the work. The paint matched perfectly, the body lines were flawless, and they even detailed the interior before returning it! It honestly looks better than it did before the accident. What really stood out was their communication--they kept me updated throughout the repair and made sure I knew when to expect my car back. It's rare to find that kind of customer care these days. If you ever need collision repair or paint work, I highly recommend Dutchess Auto Collision. They truly go above and beyond to make sure their customers are happy.

I had a very positive experience at Dutchess Auto Collision. The entire process and customer service was great. They gave me a quote and arranged a timely appointment to repair a dent on my car and delivered the day they promised. The craftsmanship was perfect. One can't ask for anything more than that. I also appreciated the lovely lounge. Very clean and comfortable.
